Translation not working

do you have multilingual compatibility mode enabled? If not, you should translate strings in the customize section. Remember to clear cache after translating.

What is multilingual compatibility mode?

It’s a feature developed for multilingual websites. You can enable/disable it in the settings. If your website is not available in more than one language, customize/translate strings in the customize section, not via a plugin for translations.
