    Hello!

For some reason, I can’t seem to get my translation to work.
I’ve uploaded the .po file to the /lang folder and named it flexible-coupons-sv_se.po.
But the emails are still in English.
    What am I missing?

    Hi oggy303,

    thank you for your message!

You may translate the plugin with Poedit and copy translated files into wp-content/languages/plugins/….

or use Loco translate plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/
    or Say what: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/

These two plugins will help you translate a plugin/ theme directly in your WordPress site.

Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for your quick reply, much appreciated.

I’ve already tried Loco, not working either.
Do I have to translate the .PHP template file manually?
Shouldn’t be necessary but if I have to…

    Hi oggy303,

Try to add flexible-coupons-sv_SE.po and flexible-coupons-sv_SE.mo generated from the file inside /lang/ folder and put these two files to the:
    wp-content/languages/plugins/

Use https://poedit.net/ for example to translate the plugin’s strings.

That should ‘do the job’ and strings should be translated into Swedish.

If you want you may also add your translation for other users:
    https://translate.www.ads-software.com/locale/pl/default/wp-plugins/flexible-coupons/

    Thanks for the input…

The files are in the wp-content/languages/plugins/, named “flexible-coupons-sv_se.po & .mo” and I can see it in Loco as well. But everything is still in English.
    Any other ideas?

As soon as I get it working I will make the full translation and share it. =)

    Hi oggy303,

you need to write the last 2 characters in capital letters as:
    flexible-coupons-sv_SE.po & flexible-coupons-sv_SE.mo

Then reload the Swedish version of the site. It should “do the job” ??

    Thank you for your support!

Yes, I noticed that yesterday so I changed it and now the backend translation is working. =) But the email is still in English and I can’t find the strings in Loco or in the .po file. Any suggestions?

    Got it working! =)
The email strings are not included in the .pot file in the downloaded plugin. But if I download the .po file from the translation site, they are there.

THANK YOU for all the help, much appreciated! =)
