    Hello,

I have a problem with the translation into Czech.

Plugin has, in addition to default English, translations into several languages, but up to a few exceptions, none is complete.

However, some are largely finished (for example, my required Czech)

It is not possible to set language in the plugin (this is set automatically using the wordpress language used). If the desired language is not found, default English is used.

If it properly renames two translation files into your language, it will be used, but it is not complete. (part remains English)

In the plugin settings it would be no problem (the users do not see it, only the administrators), but it would be bad on the web.

It’s just a few words and sentences that I can translate myself, but I do not know how.

The only solution that worked was to use JQuery and translate specific words and sentences after loading the page. But that is not easy.

I thought one solution. After loading the page automatically call the function associated with the translation into Czech using the plugin.

Sure, it could be, but I tried it manually, and the untranslated words and sentences simply will not be translated, so it makes no sense.

Is there a rational and simple solution to you?

    Please advise.

    Thank you

  • Hello
Unfinished translations are not included by WordPress into the plugin’s releases, so we have to include them manually. If you would like to contribute to the plugin’s translation into Czech, please read the below article: https://www.jigoshop.com/development/post/translations/

    Hello,

Perhaps the best solution is to translate it yourself.

I just want to ask three things.

    1. How many percent must be translated to allow wordpress to update the translation? Currently it is 72% and no translation update is allowed.
    2. Is it also necessary to translate readme so that the update is possible and what is readme actually?
    3. What should I do if I find a bug in English localization?

    Thank you

So, I have to translate the plugin to a sufficient level to keep the translation update working and readme translation is not necessary.

    Thank you

how did you do that.. translation process… I try to use the .PO files and setting language in WP dashboard >>settings >> general >> languages..

but the plugin is still in english
