@cookieyesteam I translated several static texts in Macedonian as per your guidelines. How long does it take for a moderator to approve them?

It will be convenient to make them available for translation within the plugin.

    Hi @apollosk,

Since you already added the missing translations, please follow up with the official translators on the WordPress Translators Slack channel and ask them to approve your work.

This has been discussed in the support forum before. Refer to this thread:https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/customize-translate-the-save-apply-button/

Thank you for your reply. Why don’t you make static texts like “Show more”, “Show less”, etc. available for translation within the plugin? I don’t want to rely on someone else and waste my time waiting for months for something as simple as approving a translation of a button text. Please take it into consideration.

    Hi @apollosk,

In our latest revamped version, we have improved the translations a lot. All texts will be automatically translated for various languages, provided within the revamped plugin. Although Macedonian is not included by default, you can add translations manually from within the plugin. The show more and show less text will only be available in English for Macedonian, nevertheless. We intend to include the opportunity to add a translation for this content in a future release.

To switch to this version, update the plugin to the most current updates, select the advanced tab in the plugin settings, and then click the “Delete and reset settings” button. The newest interface will be immediately switched for you.

The complete data of your plugin will be lost if you change the interface. You can try revamped version if you’re okay with starting from scratch when configuring the plugin.

In this particular case, I installed the revamped version for a client. And now I regret that decision. In the legacy version there was no problem translating the static language strings. In the new one, there is an issue with some texts like “Show more” and “Show less”. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have the ability to fully translate the frontend content of the plugin.

    Hi @apollosk,

Unfortunately, you will have to continue using the legacy version in this situation. Through the slack channel we provided, we hope you may get in touch with polyglots and ask them to approve the translations.

Macedonian is not listed among the languages we can translate into. We take this seriously and will shortly provide a fix to allow translation of show more/less for languages that do not have translation within the plugin. We will be adding this to our backlogs.

@cookieyesteam, I got the translations approved, but it didn’t fix the problem. Those static texts like show more/less in the revamped version of the plugin are still being displayed in English. Let me know what else to do, how to proceed from here.
