Translation of the theme

  • Howdy,

    I like to work on the German translation of the Gateway theme, but can’t locate the german po-file.

    In the theme-download I can only find a pot-file without translations.

    Where do I start i.e. in order to translate the search function.

    WP Localization files

    If the DE lang package is not yet there you might need to create one first.

    Thank you Giorgio.
    I checked the language file of that theme and translated some strings. To my surprise the string ?Search here…? is not included, but other translations made it to the top.
    In the meantime I realized this is the plugin Ivory Search. Changing its setup didn’t change it either, nor did it work with the po file for it.
    I guess I have to check with the author …
