• Hello,
I’m experiencing similar issue like other users. My website is in Polish. During checkout I calculate delivery costs based on address. Despite Loco translate showing that Woocommerce is 100% translated to Polish I have the phrase:
“Enter address to check delivery options”
in English. I have found this phrase in
    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/woocommerce.pot
I have changed it with Poco Editor on my desktop, it created .po and .mo files… I’m not sure how to proceed from there.
This phrase should be either translated or visible in Poco Translate plugin to translate. This is the issue a lot of other people are referencing to. I have found the thread about Czech language and the thread was closed without giving answers..?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @pandedollyo ,

To confirm, did you add the custom translation in your Polish PO file? I tried searching for the string in your Polish language PO file but wasn’t able to locate it: woocommerce-pl_PL.po.

If you haven’t already, I recommend reviewing the guide on creating custom translations to ensure everything is set up correctly: WooCommerce Localization Guide with loco. This will walk you through the process of adding or editing translation strings properly.

If you’ve already made the changes, just make sure to replace the old PO file with the newly edited version. Sometimes the old file can persist, preventing the updates from being applied.

If you find the manual translation process a bit tricky, I suggest using the Say What? plugin. This plugin simplifies the process of modifying translations directly from the WordPress dashboard without needing to work with PO files manually. It can be especially useful if you’re making small, quick adjustments.

Please let me know if I’ve missed anything or if there’s anything else you’d like assistance with!
