    @briantp Thanks, but your answer didn’t help me or the people you gave the same answer in the threads I linked to. The guide is wrong!!!

    Had the same problem and just now I somehow accidentally fixed it and no idea how… It’s working now so I’m not touching it now but you can try:
    1) download learnpress plugin separately and extract it
    2) copy all files in language folder to coresponding ftp (remove all previous files, maybe just installing loco changes them? dunno)
    3) edit your language in loco, sync and save
