Translation tags

First of all, thank you very much for the plugin it works like charm.

I am trying to develop a plugin filter wich format the strings before mqtranslate translate them. Is there any hook to this filter in order to do so? (I am very newbie in the wp development)

What I am trying to do.

Tags in menu items works as suppose to be:

[:en]Home[:es]Inicio

But IMHO, When you make a overview of the menus is harder too read at first sight due the brackets in the middle. This is why I am trying to apply a filter before mqtranslete in order to use this kind of code:

Home[:en]Inicio[:es]

It is not a big improvement but is easier to read.
