Translation to pt_BR not working.

  • Hello,

    I’ve translated the .pot file that came with the plugin to pt_BR (brazilian portuguese). I’ve sended back the translation result (pt_BR.mo and pt_BR.po files) to /plugins/age-verify/languages.

    My WP install is in pt_BR already.

    But the translation doesnt load. Where do I have insert those files to the translation works? There is anything else I have to do to make this work?

    I’ve tried to translate this plugin using “Codestyle Localization Plugin” And it found a compatibility issue:

    Charging Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_plugin_textdomain function. This could break WordPress, because some filters and actions will no longer run. Please contact the author about it.

    Any Idea to solve this issue?

    use age_verify-pt_BR.po and mo naming. the plugin requires age_verify- prefix if you look into the code.
