Translation works great except for Quiz

  • Hello,

    I have an issue with some translations. All my translations to french are working fine, except the ones that are in the quizzes / js files.

    I am not using loco translate, I am translating directly in my po files, compiling to MO.

    For a same file, learnpress-fr_FR.po : my translations are all working except the ones about the quizzes. such as “duration” “passing grade” etc.

    I saw many posts about the quizz translation problem but there never seem to be a solution.
    If any one has an idea on why it’s not working , I would really appreciate it.

    Please note that I don’t want to translate with locotranslate and that activating the debug mode in the BO sometimes fixes the issue but I can”t figure out why.

    Have you enabled Debug Mode on Settings of LP?
    Can you provide the content file mo? Where does some text you translate has in the js quiz?

    Yes the debug mode I enabled is the one from the LP settings. But I can,’t leave it all the time I am guessing. Only during dev.

    Hi emma363,

    You should disable the mode Debug of LP. And use the “loco translate” plugin to sync. You can read more guides here.

    I feel like you did not read my request properly.

    I said :

    “i dont want to use locotranslate”

    and “I sometimes use the debug ” which means it is not obviously not always activated.

    Besides it should not be mandatory to use a different plugin to translate yours or it should be said clearly that we can’t do it without it.

    You answer of “read the doc” was absolutely of no help.

    We very want to help you resovle issues. But we don’t know your site to check. On our local and international sites of ours, it translated normally.

    You can try to rename “learnpress-fr_FR.po” file to “learnpress-fr.po” and save it to learnpress\languages. Check then feedback us
