Translations after updating

Unfortunately, that’s how WordPress functions. If you make any edits to the core theme files, those will get overwritten with each update.

For translation, it’s best to use the Loco Translate plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/

Just remember to sync/refresh strings before you begin with translating, and that’s it.
