Translations are not working

I’m trying to use the plugin with WP set to a different language than the default en_US. The plugin is already translated in that language but the translation doesn’t work because the translation file names are set to dwls instead of daves-wordpress-live-search.pot … so the plugin cannot find the translations. Even the Loco translation plugin cannot find the write files without point it to dwls pot file.
