Translations of gateway descriptions is crashing

    Hi,

    Since the last update, our website is crashing. By analyzing the logs, it appears that your module runs in a loop when it tries to translate the description of the payment methods and the site crashes because the processing takes too long or the memory is full.

    After a lot of research, I deactivated a line of code and everything works “normally” again. The disabled line of code is: /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/classes/multi-currency/payment-gateways/class-wcml-currencies-payment-gateways.php:47 This is the filter on the “woocommerce_gateway_description” hook.

    Can you fix this please? Thanks

    Thank you for reporting this issue and sorry for the inconvenience. Our team is already working on it, however, could you please provide us more details?

    Does this happen after updating WCML from 5.3.3.1 to 5.3.4 version? From your description, you are also using WPML, correct? If so, which version are you using?

    Thank you for your reply. We have activated automatic updates so yes we had version 5.3.3.1 previously. We also have the modules “WPML Media 2.7.3”, “WPML Multilingual CMS 4.6.9” and “WPML String Translation 3.2.9”.

    Thanks for your help @stephanelioncdn. So far, we haven’t been able to reproduce the issue in this Sandbox.

    As you are a WPML, could you please open a chat in our support channel? You can ask directly for me. In that way we will be able to access to your website and investigate further as the support is really limited here.

    I think I reproduced the problem in your sandbox when trying to install the sogecommerce payment module. Can you watch please?
