Transparent Nav bar athenas theme

    Hi, I need to make the navigation bar in my page transparent but I can′t find out how, can you help me?
    I have tried editing it with CSS but the bar is the same black color.
    If it′s not possible to change the color could you explain to me how to eliminate it and maybe recommend me a good nav bar plugin?
