• Hello-

    So I have been using a child theme to adapt twentyeleven to have a transparent logo image for a site title. I have modified the header.php to insert a transparent .png file and modified the style sheet to set the size of the image file and to create a transparent place to display it. The logo is set to display at 347×146 – but it’s stretching for some reason?

    Here’s the site link: https://jamievaness.com

    I used these styles to to create a transparent area for my site title, and remove borders:

    #page { background: transparent; }
    #main { background: #fff; }
    #colophon { background: #eee; }
    #access { margin-bottom: 0; }
    #branding { border-top: none; } /*remove the grey border at the top*/
    #branding #site-title img { border-top: none; } /*correction to remove the border from the logo image*/

    Then I modified the header.php site-title code to this:

    <h1 id="site-title"><span><a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><img src="<?php echo bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/logo.png" alt"<?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?>" width="347" height="146"/></a></span></h1>

    I also added this to the stylesheet to control the size display of the image:

    h1#site-title img{
    width:347;
    height:146;
    }

    Any ideas as to what I need to adjust?
