    Hi,
    Thank you for the great plugin. I am struggling to get it work with Transposh plugin. It seems that Transposh doesn’t ‘recognise’ qwizdeck shortcodes and tries to translate them.

    [QDeck = aleatorios”cierto” card_back =”ninguna” align =”centrar”]

    All my other plugins and shortcodes work well with Transposh – it treats them properly, as shortcodes.

    Thank you for your help!

    Thanks. Ah, that’s a problem I didn’t anticipate! Typically, WordPress shortcodes are processed on the server side — presumably before the page text gets to Transposh — so Transposh never sees them. Qwizcards is a little different — its shortcodes are processed by JavaScript on the client side.

    I’ve installed Transposh on my test site, but I really haven’t figured out how to make it work! I don’t suppose it has any options for “don’t translate this next bit of text”?

    The only fix I can think of would be to have some option in Qwizcards to translate the shortcodes into some numeric equivalent, and have the JavaScript be able to translate them back. For example, when the page is displayed (rather than when it is edited) [qwiz] might become [113119105122] (three-digit ASCII codes). Well, I’ll put this on the to-do list; not sure of priority.

    Let me know if you have any thoughts.

    Hi Dan,
    Thank you for the detailed answer. I found the way around by wrapping every Qwizcard shortcode in code tag. Transposh is set up not not translate this tag. That works, but the code looks a bit funny though ??

    <code/>[qdeck random="true" card_back="none" align="center" click_flip="false"]</code/>

    Thank you for your great efforts!
