If you cannot delete a subscriber, it means they’re probably added to the?WordPress Users list?or the?WooCommerce Customers list.?

WordPress Users should be deleted as a User by going to the?WordPress dashboard > Users page.?

Customers added to the WooCommerce Customers list?can not?be removed from this list or from the MailPoet plugin, unless you delete their order from the WooCommerce plugin.

Actually no. This is the use case. 20 authors in the website. Install Mailpoet. They all become subscribers. I don’t want them to be subscribers or to count as subscribers on my plan. For example, if I ran a membership site that had 20,000 users and installed Mailpoet, I wouldn’t be surprised if they all counted on my plan even if 5 actually wanted emails from me.

    Hi @hikingdog,

Authors are WordPress Users and they can’t be deleted as subscribers from our plugin.

But you can use the bulk actions to mark them as “Unsubscribed”, so they won’t receive any newsletters from you and won’t count towards the subscriber’s limit.

You can also choose to disable the entire WordPress Users list, as mentioned here: The WordPress Users List.
