• I’m just beginning to use WordPress for the first time to help a friend, and this question is something I must solve before handing him the keys.

When a page is sent to trash, why is it still visible on the active web site. I have deleted the content on a test page named Page 2, still won’t delete. Also trying to delete the Blog page wit no success. So the pages are not listed in All Pages, yet they display.

What other step is necessary to remove a page?

    Thanks Stilman.

I have cleared the cache, no cache on site by hosting co.

I’m testing the view on multiple PCs, browsers, smart phones, tablets.

You need to give the url of one of the “trashed” pages which still appears. The url given is just a logon page. Or is that something that should not appear?
