tribe-events/tribe-events.css Not Overriding

@tommbuttrick, can you share a URI for the events page so we can check the page headers as see if it’s just loading too early.

Try the following

#tribe-events .tribe-events-single-event-description p {
    margin-left: 30px;
    margin-top: 10px;
}

Nope. Same results.

A little background on this: The substitution WAS working fine. Then, this past weekend, I upgraded to the latest WP version, upgraded from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.5, and purchased The Event Calendar Pro. Substitution no longer works.

Try installing The Events Calendar User CSS and you should be able to revert the CSS back to what it was.

This plugin ensures that your tribe-events.css loads last.

Odd that in Chrome when I added above to CSS it worked.

You might also try the following

#tribe-events .tribe-events-content.tribe-events-single-event-description p {
    margin-left: 30px;
    margin-top: 10px;
}

Still not loading. I installed the CSS plugin and it made no difference.

When I use debug, I see that the tribe-events.css is not loading

I see that tribe-events.css is loading and that there are lots of errors in custom-styles.css

Are you using a cache plugin?

Try using

#tribe-events .tribe-events-content p {
    margin-left: 30px;
    margin-top: 10px;
}

I still don’t see it loading, but it is now working. Not sure what is going on, but now working in both Chrome and FireFox.
