Tried everything! Formating user BIO

  • Hello, Ive googled and read every single article I could find on this topic and tried so many things but I cannot get the results. I know it can tho…

    Is there a way to allow html in the Profile biography section?
    I’ve tried a few plugins such as Rich Text Biography, but that does not affect the users profile page at the front end. I’m using a plugin called “Profiler” to display the users profile in the front end.

    I’ve also tried adding this code at the bottom of my themes functions.php file. `<?php
    remove_filter(‘pre_user_description’, ‘wp_filter_kses’);
    ?>`

    But I get no change at all…

    Please, any suggestions would help me and I would REALLY appreciate it.

  • I did the same and still don’t have a solution. The use of $curauth->user_description; seems to strip all formatting out of the field. I’m just trying to maintain paragraph breaks so the text is not all strung together. Any help out there from someone would be appreciated. WordPress? The site is self-hosted so their support said they can’t help.
