Tried Everything – Still Not Working

  • I dont want an image in the post, I just want the correct thumbnail to be scraped for links to the post.

    Without a featured image, they automatically display a thumbnail from the main page of the site. With a featured image, they display the correct featured image as a thumbnail, but then the image appears full size at the top of the post. I dont want an image in the post, I just want the correct thumbnail to be scraped for links to the post.

    This plugin doesnt work.

    On post:
    “Hide Featured image” set to yes
    nothing

    In Settings:
    “Hide Image from all Posts(not Custom Post Type)?” Set to Yes
    “Hide Image from all Pages?” Set to Yes
    Still doesnt work.

    Upgraded to WordPress 4.9.8
    Still doesnt work

    Ive tried removing the featured image and inserting the image as “div style=”display: none;” in the post.
    Still the wrong thumbnail is scraped

    plz help!
