tried fixing htaccess now ? can not reach to my website

  • Hello, I had issues in changing page contents this past month and I got 403 forbidden error. even tho I mentioned it to the IT, they said it was fixed but it wasn’t. Now with the online wirtings and videos I tried to fix it, the htaccess.php one I deleted it and then I rewrite it. it didnt accepted my rewrite as well as ? wanted to activate that plugin but the whole site is shut down, now ? cannot reach to it

    Rename your .htaccess file to something like htaccess.bad, then create a new .htaccess file using the WP default.

    By the way ”?htaccess.php one” There should not be a file called “htaccess.php” in the root of your site.
