Tried it. Time to go back to the old editor

  • Tried it and actually got used it. However, came to a conclusion that workflow with the old editor is much faster. Guess the main reasons are the user interface and how old editor allows to handle images? Oh, and no Paste as Text option..

    Can you describe what ways the user interface and image handling are slower? I’d love to see if there’s a way to fix that.

    For pasting as plain text, I totally agree. There’s a discussion about that on the GitHub repo, with a few ideas for improving it. In the mean time, a couple options are:

    * Use the control+shift+v keyboard shortcut to paste as plain text (works in most apps, not just Gutenberg)
    * Insert a Classic block, and then click the Paste as Text button, then paste like normal.
