Tried to backup manually and with Xcloner, now blog is blank

  • I was trying to update to the latest version, and first ran into problems logging into myPHPAdmin through my site, gave up on that and downloaded a plugin, Xcloner, to backup automatically. I uploaded those files to the plugin folder as directed, and then when I tried to go back into the WP admin all I got was a blank page. I was then able to log into myPHP (found the setting that I had wrong) and download a backup of my database and also a copy of the WP folder. But this was after the blank page.
    I know just enough about this to get myself in trouble, apparently.

  • Check with your host see if they can restore to the last backup they have you may loose few recent posts.
