Tried to install got error cant access wp admin dashboard

  • Hi,

    so i installed this plugin awesome work btw tried it on my other website and works wonderful, but was gonna install it on my older website which uses old theme i think the problem is?

    when i try to acces /wp-admin i get this now, I cant do anything please help ??

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tgmpa_load_bulk_installer() (previously declared in /home1/**myname**/public_html/**siteadress**.com/wp-content/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/classes/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php:3154) in /home1/**myname**/public_html/**siteadress**com/wp-content/themes/schema/functions/plugin-activation.php on line 2204

    You got any idea, thanks alot i appreciate it alot ??

    You can find the solution there. Please inform the theme author of the Schema theme.

    Yeah I use schema the latest version on my other site and it worked, this has an old version of schema haven’t updated it in a long time.

    and to the solution, on that download page should I check theme, child theme,or plugin? and what text domain?

    and how to I Copy/upload (via FTP) ?

    It will fix it if i can access wp dashboard and update the theme to the latest but i cant even login in or anything just get a text with that error line :S

    Just below the “custom” form, there are links to the standard zip and tar file packages

    That depends on your deploy process, but if you normally would use FTP, then yes, use FTP to upload the file. (you only need to replace the one file, you can ignore the rest of the content of the zip file)

    Once you’ve done that, you should be able to login again & update the theme.

    I have never used a ftp dont know what it does, I use hostgator for hosting is it something i should do there or?

    How i usually install/upload plugins is just via wp admin but i cant even login or access anything just gives a text error line.

    Could you guide me? ??

    I don’t use Hostgator, so have no idea what you have available. If you have a hosting account control panel or something, you might have an option there to view files. If you do, you can probably upload the file to the correct directory through there.
    Other than that, I would suggest contacting Hostgator or looking at their helppages to find out how to do it.

    No it’s fixed thank you, I just deleted the plugin and updated the theme and installed the plugin again now it works.
