tried to remove date, auth now can't access dashbord or wesite

  • I tried to remove the posted by, date, author and comment off by following these directions from another post that said to add /**/ to the function.php. Now I can’t access anything and I get this error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘*’ in /home/content/78/8638478/html/wp-content/themes/snow-summit/functions.php on line 485

    Can someone please tell me how to correct it.
