Tried to upload WordPress 3.1 and got this:

    I did…

    I lost my entire site. I had to reload old version again and got it back. I followed the manual instructions exactly.

    When I manually uploaded all the new documents…I got a blank screen for my website, all pages, and my admin section.

    When I went back to old version, everything was back to normal except for some minor changes that I had made to the stylesheet.

    Did you backup your database, deactivate all plugins and switch to Twenty Ten before attempting the manual upgrade?
