trigger causing errors

    Hello I am having problems with the popups no t working and am getting the following error message : jquery.js:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .popmake-test, .popmake-, a[href$="#popmake-test"]

    whenever the trigger is added. I am using a twentytwelve child theme advanced custom fields and with no javascript.

    I read the link concerning 4.5 and the jQuery update but am using only basic functionality of the plugin with an acf text editor.

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
    PS. all worked fine until recently (perhaps the latest update to the plugin?)
