    Hello! Is there any way of triggering the messenger icon to open up via URL?

    For instance, with Hubspot you can trigger the chat to open via example.com/#hs-chat-open

    Is there something like this for Facebook messenger?

    No.
    And that should be added to the plugin…
    Because the JS scripts needed for it are slowering a lot page processing, and google insight tell me that the slowest script on my pages.

    So… It’s currently having a bad impact on SEO.
    Please add triggering options.
