Trigger from URL

I would love to be able to trigger one or more fields to expand based on the URL used to arrive at the page (similar to using anchor tags).

For example, if I have a page that talks about pets, and mentions fish, clicking fish takes to to a page of collapsed items (dogs, cats, wolverines, etc.) with the “fish” item already expanded.

Is there a way to do that, similar to https://www.example.com/petsgeneral/pets#fish ?
