triggered a fatal error

Hi the same thing happened to me when the plugin was updated to 2.41.0

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: …………sfm/public_html/index.php(17): require(‘/home/1141406.c…’)\n#5 {main}\n thrown in /home/1141406.cloudwaysapps.com/ujdunkxsfm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-catalog-mode/init.php on line 77

This happened to me as well after the latest Elementor update.

Updated all plugins and site crashed, YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode shown as cause.

I restored backup and site was fine then update YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode only and site crashed again so restored backup again to get site you again. Need new update file to update and keep working.

Replaced with 2.40.0 and all is fine. Disabled auto update.

I would first just like to say, I am in no way affiliated with this plugin, but I understand the frustration when something like this fails brining down a website. Like you I found that rollback doesn’t seem to be able to find the version to install it. So here is how you can get a copy of the previous version.

On the plugin page in the www.ads-software.com repository there is an “Advanced View” link on the right hand side part way down the page which takes you to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/yith-woocommerce-catalog-mode/advanced/

At the bottom of the page is a drop down, select version 2.40.0 and download the zip file. You can then use this to install the plugin again. If you can’t get to your admin panel to do this, on the hosting server rename the folder yith-woocommerce-catalog-mode to something else. This wil deactivate the plugin, therefore allowing you access again to install the old version.
