Trim tweets

Not currently. You can trim links, but not tweets.

Sure. What exactly are you trying to achieve and/or what problem are you trying to solve? There may be another way to do it…

Indeed. I’ve just trimmed links to 10 characters to save horizontal space since the rotating tweets are running in a boxed header (1000px) with the Follow button floating to the right.

I want the tweet only in one line of text.

Might something like:
