• I’ve disabled the old URL – https://tete-tete-tete.com/ but you can still see the bare bones at https://smijer.com/wp.

I found that I and several others opening both the front page and the wp-admin page, on some occasions would find our machines downloading and attempting to execute a trojan called heur. I am running the latest version of WP, but I had some un-updated plugins. I updated those and ran a couple of exploit/virus detecting plugins – one turned up suspicious code in the K2 template I was using, so I reverted to WP Classic. I continued to have the problem, so I took the site down. Any ideas?

Update – I deleted & re-installed WordPress, and the problem persists. Anyone know of a utility for cleaning a virus out of the database? Only thing I can figure is that it resides in the database. I really don’t want to lose 3 years of content to this problem.
