Last update 3.46.9 broke my site (due to uncaught error in the plugin according to WordPress). Next update 3.46.10 did not fix the issue. So I downloaded previous version 3.46.8 from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailpoet/advanced/

But Windows 10 said the file contains a virus! Screenshot: https://imgur.com/orhiVfU

Windows Defender scanned mailpoet.3.46.8.zip and found the trojan virus Script/Oneeva.A!ml, classifying it as Severe. Screenshot: https://imgur.com/R4rAavU

What’s going on guys? I did inform your Sales team via email but no response, so I’m posting it here so you can find and fix the issue.

tú qué has hecho, bajar el 3.46.7? gracias

Hi, thanks for looking into it. Yes WordPress detected an error with 3.46.9. So I reported the issue to you and downloaded 3.46.8. While downloading 3.46.8, Windows found the trojan virus. That’s what this post is about.

Same problem for me mailpoet version 3.46.10
    problem with file mailpoet\vendor-prefixed\symfony\polyfill-iconv\Resources\charset\translit.php

Would be nice to have some update on this thanks

We’ve reviewed the piece of code that has been reported as “malware”.

What the file contains are character mappings to help deal with different charsets, we have confirmed that there is no indication of said malware.

Our next week’s update should no longer be misclassified by Microsoft Defender as containing a Trojan virus, and even using the current MailPoet versions is safe.

    Thank you!
