    Hi,

I’m trying to create a child-theme of TESSERACT theme. But I have a message when I test it :
“Warning: file_get_contents(C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-DevServer-14.1VC9\data\localweb\wordpress/wp-content/themes/TESSERACT-child/css/typicons.css): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-DevServer-14.1VC9\data\localweb\wordpress\wp-content\themes\TESSERACT\inc\beaver-builder-modules\link-button\link-button-module.php on line 47”

I followed WP’s tutorial here . I think it’s because all stylesheet are not charged in child-theme, but i’m not sure.

This is the tree of TESSERACT’s directory :
    TESSERACT

I don’t really know what to do. This is the first time I try to make this action.

If you need more informations or if I was not clear, say it to me.

    Thanks !

The Codex articles are only meant to work with themes that are distributed on www.ads-software.com.

Anyway, try copying the ‘css’ folder from your parent theme and pasting it into your Child Theme folder.

Sorry, I didn’t know. I’m new with WordPress..

It’s work. Thanks for your help.

Just one question: if I make an update of the original theme, should I do a copy/paste again ?

Sure, but hopefully the theme developers will tell you the files they updated
