Trouble Editing Footer

  • Hello Everyone!
    I’m having an issue editing the footer on the website: https://www.hgrgardensupply.com/test

    I can only find articles on editing the footer by going through
    Appearance > Editor > Footer.php. That doesn’t give me what I want – I don’t think.

    I’m trying to link the support, terms and conditions, and FAQ in the footer to the appropriate pages. I can’t seem to find where I need to be though!

    No, not the page itself.. the website. Down at the footer. The website currently isn’t “live”. If you go to hgrgardensupply.com, it will take you to an “Under Construction” landing page. The link I gave you was just a way to get to the actual site. But if you scroll down and look at the footer, you’ll see the sections I’m talking about. I’m trying to edit those pages.

    Thanks for the articles.. they helped.. It’s what I would need to do to create a footer.. however I need to find the old footer so I can take it out, so I can start over. I’m not sure what the last IT guy did to get that footer on there. I went to appearance > Menus, like the article said. It looks like someone tried setting a footer up in there, but the the menus don’t match whats on the front end of the site. Am I sounding confusing?

    Open all files in bazar folder with code IDE. Then you search “copyright” or “START COPYRIGHT”, result must include 1 file have this keyword and that’s your footer.

    You have to edit your theme footer.php file to enable the menu there.

    Just figured it out for me.. it was under Bazar > General > Footer
    Other wordpress websites I’ve dealt with I had to edit the footer.php.
