Trouble editing H1 text with cufon in Minibuzz Theme

I’m jumping in to help with a site built with the Minibuzz theme and utilizing Cufon fonts — which I abhor.

I can see on the homepage editing screen there is a “custom field” created called “changeH1” — I type different text in there, and, voila, the H1 header is changed on the homepage. Works as you expect it to.

However —
On all other pages, when I do the exact same thing as above, nothing happens. The text that is presently there does not change and I cannot see where or how one can modify those words. I’ve got “custom field” and “changeH1” selected, type in some new words — nothing.

I hope this is making sense and someone can offer some advice. This is very, very frustrating!
