Trouble getting links to work. #!/ and bad urls being generated at New Page

I havent used WP in a few years but don’t remember ever wresting with the categories so much.
I made one New Page.
https://www.brianstinehart.com/ is my site
https://www.brianstinehart.com/gallery is what us supposed to open.
instead the link is https://www.brianstinehart.com/#!/gallery/I just dont understand. ‘#!’ isn’t google friendly.lol
