Trouble Installing from Dreamhost

    I attempted to add WP to uuvc.org via a Dreamhost One-Click Install. I made a mistake. In attempting to correct the error I dumped my sql data base and tried to reinstall. When I did WP indicated that there was an existing account canceling the one-click install.

    How do I start over with WP?

    You’ll need to delete the files WP installed in your /home/USERNAME/uuvc.org/<wherever WP is> folder.

    You may also need to delete the old one-click and start over, though it appears you already did that.

    Where are you trying to 1-click install WP?

    I was trying to 1-click install WP at https://www.uuvc.org. I did delete the 1-click install on DreamHost and used Fetch to remove the WP files from my site. When I tried to reinstall WP indicated that an account already existed. How can I tell WP that I made a mistake and want to start over?

    Are you trying to reinstall via 1-click?

    Thanks for all your help. I was attempting to install in the wrong place. I now have installed WP at https://www.uuvc.org/blog.
