Hi, I have a horrible company website at [ redundant link removed ]
I can log into this no problem, but the theme is expired and you can basically do nothing ??
I want to create a new site and then transfer over the url. However, I cannot log into www.ads-software.com using the credentials for my site, so had to create a new username meaning if I create a new site it will be on that account.

is there no way for me to start a new site (with a dummy url) but in the same account as my current site?

    Any help is appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    No, you don’t do this.

www.ads-software.com is just the place where the free WordPress software is developed and supported. www.ads-software.com does not host ANY user’s website, and the account you create here is ONLY to get support for the WordPress software — it has no link whatsoever with the user accounts on your own website.

It seems your current website is hosted with Ionos/1&1. You’ll need to contact them for access to your hosting control panel, and to see if they have the feature you’re looking for.

If you’re looking for a new host, you can instantly spin up a new WordPress website at WordPress.COM with a temporary URL (and for free). You can later pay to add your own domain and access other advanced features.

(Note that www.ads-software.com and WordPress.COM are also separate entities. Yeah, it can be confusing!)

    Good luck!
