• When I try to login after I install with the password WordPress supplies I get this message:
Since youa€?re a newcomer, youa€?ll have to wait for an admin to raise your level to 1, in order to be authorized to post blog items.
You can also e-mail the admin to ask for a promotion.
When youa€?re promoted, just reload this page and youa€?ll be able to blog. ??
I’m assuming this isn’t what I’m supposed to see, and I have no clue how to raise my leve for myself. I’ve tried going into phpmyadmin, but there doesn’t seem to be anything out of wack. Any help would be great.

  • well you can go in under php admin and up the user level to whatever you want
it should be at 0 now and you need at least 1
I am also having trouble logging in. It says my session has expired. I have used lots of versions, but I have never had this before. What could be out of whack? Did I miss something in config?

The user level is already at 10 =/

If you’ve seen yourself in PHPMyAdmin and your session expired, could it be a cookie problem?

I’ve cleared all my cookies, and all my temporary folders.

Yikes – I don’t know. I hope someone else can answer this person’s question (I’m still new).
