Hi there, thanks for a great plugin.
I’m having some issues on a few of the sites where I’m using the plugin.
I have created admin users but they cannot login, they get a 403 forbidden error.
This is not just on a single site, it’s on several different sites.
I can login with their user details from my machine and I never ever see that 403 message.
No matter what I try, they can only login if I disable the plugin.
There are no IP addresses on the blacklist and I don’t see any login attempts in the logs either.
Is this something you know about, perhaps a setting I’m unwittingly using that could causing this?
I usually install the plugin then I import the settings from a previously exported settings file.
I’d appreciate any insight you may have.

    Hi,

I have created admin users but they cannot login, they get a 403 forbidden error.

Did you by any chance enabled one of the Brute Force feature in the admin settings? For example: Rename Login Page?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
No I have not renamed the login page but I have enabled:
    – Honeypot Captcha
    – Login/lost password Form Captcha (Not google)
Those are the only Brute Force settings I enabled.
I do have a plugin that has a feature to rename the login page but that is not enabled either.
Is is weird that I don’t have any isues loggin in with anyone’s details from my computer.

    Hi,

Is is weird that I don’t have any isues loggin in with anyone’s details from my computer.

This leads me to believe that the issue is related to their computer or laptop. What do you think?

    Hi,
Yeah its possible, although this has happened to two separate users on ntwo different websites, which I suppose it is possible that they both have something wrong with their computers.
Look, I reckon we have exhausted posibilities of the plugin having an issue so lets just see if I get anymore of these types of login problems.
    Thanks for the help!
