• I continually have trouble logging into wordpress. I’m talking about the wordpress box log in. I just tried and got this message

    Page not found
The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    ——————————————————————————–
    Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    – Click the Back button in your browser to try another link.
    – Use a search engine like Google to look for information on the Internet.

I then just tried again and it came up and I logged in. Can anyone tell me why it keeps doing this?

    thanks.

    Daisy

  • I’m having the same problem!!!

    Help ??

I’ve traced a lot of people’s Page not found errors when logging in to: bookmarking a previous login, instead of using the documented way to logon as Administrator: either yoursite.com/wp-admin if WordPress was installed in the root, or yoursite.com/wpfolder/wp-admin if WordPress was installed in a folder called “wpfolder”.

One of the most common mistakes is to move the blog to the root, leaving the WordPress files in a folder, then forgetting that you still have to say yoursite.com/wpfolder/wp-admin to login, even though all your site pages have now been Permalinked to the root.
