Trouble logging into admin page

Hello, I have had my WordPress page up for a while now, over a year. I am currently having trouble logging into my admin page. On my main page, I click on “log in” and get the login page prompt, but when I enter my user name and password I get nothing.

Not sure if this is an issue, but I was asked to add a link to my page from a source I do not know but believe is legitimate. On my left bar I added a widget to add a pic that included a link to the site. After I added the widget I couldn’t move the location of the widget or get the widget to show up correctly. Again, not sure if this is the problem but it was what I was working on.

Also, I did just upgrade to the latest version of WordPress, so not sure if this is the problem either.
