trouble making theme full screen

Hi,

I am currently trying to make a wordpress theme go from 960px width to 100%, full screen width. Usually, on static pages(non-wp) I am able to do so with just a simple “width: 100%;” declaration in my main wrapper, but cannot in wordpress when I go into the style.css editor.

The wordpress theme I’m using (mayashop) does not have a full screen option.

Please help!
