• Evenin’,

I’m trying to move a client’s website to a new server, which is running an older version of PHPmyadmin and Plesk (compared to cPanel on test server). Client set up this hosting after the website was built, so I didn’t know what the final server’s specs would be.

Firstly I tried the all in one WP migration plugin, which can be a Godsend on some transfers. That failed, so I tried FTP and a bulk database editing tool. This works with one hitch. WooCommerce completely breaks the admin panel. If I disable all plugins, it works, and continues to work as I re-activate them one by one. It only fails when I try WooCommerce.

When it fails, I just get an instant white screen where the admin panel should be. I then have to go and rename the plugins folder to fix it again. Note it doesn’t break the front-end – only the backend.

Because PHPmyadmin is an older version on the client’s server I had to download the database in a compatibility format, so I’m not sure if that might have something to do with it?

I haven’t provided a link because I keep trying all sorts so the site keeps changing/deleting etc. Just hoping for some fresh insight!
