Trouble redirecting pages

  • I got a WordPress Blog going on for some time now about my holiday trip. I had a GPS reciever with me, and decided to show my route. I did this per month, and then per day.

    So, for example, I got this page for january: https://www.ligfietsvakantie.nl/route/january/

    But if you go to a day, you always end up in the root of january. Even if you go to a non-existent day like the 27th.
    If I go to a day in the WordPress Dashboard, the pages shows as normal, with the correct route in place. Preview doesn’t work.

    This has always worked fine before. But I got a message from my hosting that my website had been hacked, and after I got it all working again this problem showed up.

    Anyone got any suggestion?

  • try resetting your permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

    Thanks, if I change permalinks to default it does work.

    Why wouldn’t it work with permalinks on, I’ve copied the contents in a .htaccess file, that seems to be ok (everything else works, except the days).

    Any suggestions?
    Also tried deactivating all plugins.
