    My blog is https://whatsonthelist.net

I can reply to comments on my blog and it literally says

“Joanne T Ferguson: You are commenting using your What’s On The List? account.”

I wish to be able to reply from my Facebook or Twitter account and not from the What’s On The List account.

There have been a lot of changes recently to my blog re plugins and conflicts which are now resolved.

Is there any easy way for me to update the way I comment/reply on my own blog?

    Thank you!

  • When I click to comment box it uses my WordPress account. Try signing out from the comment form and use different account for sign in. It should allow you Facebook / Twitter accounts.

Thank you mrky007 for your time and reply. There is no way to sign out of the comment box. The only way for me to do is to sign out of my blog via www.ads-software.com and when I sign in, it is through www.ads-software.com

I would like the option to comment from my Facebook and Twitter accounts

I presume it has something to do with jetpack comments (which is activated)

OK, try opening your website in a different browser (in which you are not logged into WordPress account). That way you don’t have to sign out of your WP account.

Then go to comments and it will give you an option to log in with different account.

Ah, it is there correctly in Mozilla, but not in Chrome.

So that would suggest it is a browser issue eh?

Is there any way to fox with Chrome? Just asking and GREATLY appreciate your help and time!
    Joanne

Nope, not a browser issue. Browser simply remembers that you are logged into your WP account and will try to authenticate you with it wherever it can (your site). Since you said that you don’t want to sign out for practical reasons I just suggested that you try different browser (in which you aren’t logged in to WP)

You can use whichever way you like ??

Thanks…I’d like to use Chrome as is a lot better than Mozilla

is there a way that allows me to have the option of commenting of FB and Twitter via Chrome?

Yes there is, but you have to sign out of wordpress account first, go to your website and when you are trying to comment just pick a different account.
