Trouble setting up a Unity game

  • Hello, I’m very new to wordpress and blgging/website creation in general.

    I’ve created a student game using Unity and I want to be able to have it just load and play on my site using the Unity Webplayer. I’ve seen it done before and I have instructions from a professor, but I can’t even get my file to upload to wordpress.

    Whenever I try to upload the .unity3d file it gets to 100% and then says:

    ““WebPlayer.unity3d” has failed to upload due to an error
    Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

    I didn’t know if this would work or not, but I am using host gator and I tried to use the control panel to upload the file directly to the wordpress uploads folder, but still no success.

    Are there any fixes/work arounds for this?
