Trouble setting up sales of notecards where user can select one or more designs?

I set up note cards as a grouped product, with the individual note cards set up as simple products per woocommerce KB article and forum recommendation by @jameskoster.
Everything disappears from my store except the note card grouped product as soon as I publish the set up above if I have my theme on (Beaver Builder with Beaver Themer).
The Shop goes from this:

With note cards in draft mode and BB theme on, the store works great.
As an FYI, I been working through the problem of disappearing products described in this topic. Mentioning it in case the last product added causes problems.
